Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Manager, Technical Services to join the School of Biological Sciences. The role will be responsible for managing the School’s technical staff and resources to support the delivery of the teaching and research programmes, including maintenance and management of school assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical team leadership and operational support across the School.
• Manage teaching laboratory operations.
• Repair and maintenance of equipment.
• Supporting and leading projects.
• Capital equipment purchases.
• Contributing to health and safety culture and processes.
• A member of the School Management Group.
