Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Doctoral Scholarships and Admissions Adviser on a fixed-term, full-time contract up until December 2024. This role will support the Admissions and Scholarships team at Te Here Tāura Rangahau - Faculty of Graduate Research (FGR) and is well suited to an adaptable individual that is effective at prioritising workloads and dealing with multiple demands on time, while possessing a strong customer-focus and the ability to remain cool under pressure.

Ō pūmanawa - About you

The successful applicant will have:

  • Proven experience in customer service, administrative and adviser support, including data entry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including a consistently high level of clarity and accuracy.
  • Proven experience of working with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Able to work with others to ensure key deadlines are met.
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with database software.

Ideally you will also have prior experience working with staff and students in a tertiary education setting.
