Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Senior Marketing and Communications Adviser, Future Students on a permanent, full-time contract. The role acts as a key partner to the domestic Future Student team in both strategic and tactical marketing and communications activity linked to the student recruitment cycle.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns that support commercial and engagement organisational objectives.
  • Managing marketing-communications to future student audience(s).
  • Building and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external partners to ensure a strong student recruitment lens is brought to university partnerships and sponsorships.
  • Manage and contribute to specific projects within the Marketing Group as required including University partnership opportunities that present student recruitment opportunities.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in developing and implementing fully integrated marketing plans that support commercial and engagement organisational objectives.
  • Experience in setting up and managing marketing automation campaigns.
  • Experience and understanding of paid advertising and social media environments.
  • Experience in producing high-quality content, both written and visual.
  • Experience in reporting ROI and campaign analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience of developing and maintaining effective relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate or participate in project work within set deadlines.
