Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Project Manager to join Te Wāhanga Waihanga-Hoahoa - The Faculty of Architecture and Design Innovation on an 8 month, fixed-term contract. The role will work closely with the Dean and sponsor of strategic projects to complete work that is required for international programme implementation, professional programme accreditation and academic programme reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Management for:
    • The delivery, and establishing compliance, of the Zhengzhou University (ZZU) joint Educational Institute, including provision of support to the Associate Dean, International.
    • Professional programme accreditations, i.e., the accreditation of the Landscape Architecture programme by the New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects (NZILA) and supporting preparations for obtaining accreditation for the Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP).
    • Establishing an Industry Advisory Board for accredited programmes and the Bachelor of Building Science (BBSc).
    • The academic review of the Architecture programme.
  • Supporting strategic and project management capability building with in the Faculty of Architecture and Design Innovation.
