Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join the Digital Transformation team in Te Tai Matihiko - Digital Solutions on a fixed-term, full-time basis for 6 months.

Application Integration platform is the Digital Solutions strategic integration solution. The team works with the Azure Platform, managing event driven integrations between many systems, with a preference for APIs.

Ō pūmanawa - About you

We are looking for a candidate with the knowledge, experience, and aptitude to provide high quality business analysis to our Application Integration Platform team.

You will:

• Be experienced in or have a strong aptitude for the main aspects of business.
• Be comfortable working with complex systems and requirements.
• Have highly developed analytical and communication skills.
• Liaise effectively with a variety of technical and non‐technical staff.
• Be a strong advocate for quality in their project’s delivery.
• Ideally have some experience in integrating data between systems.

Key requirements:

• Experience in applying business analysis methods and procedures.
• Ability to work in a team with a strong self-management ethos.
• Expertise in JSON, NoSQL and SQL, JSON Schema highly desirable.
• Commitment to continuous team process improvement.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
