Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Campus Support Assistant on a permanent, full-time contract to join the Campus Support Team.

Our Campus Support Assistant specialises in ensuring the smooth operation of University campuses through a comprehensive range of tailored services. From setting up rooms for events, to distributing essentials, and promptly reporting maintenance issues, we guarantee seamless campus facilities. With a focus on safety and security, we provide escorted guidance, and assist in emergency responses, including fire evacuations.

Additionally, our administrative excellence ensures efficient mailroom operations, detailed reporting, and adherence to University policies and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide a range of Campus Support Services to the University community that ensures the smooth running of the campuses.
  • Provide a range of services that support the safety and security of people on the University campuses.
  • Provide operational and other administrative duties required for the smooth operation of Campus support.
  • Ensures the compliance with the University’s policies, procedures, and reporting obligations in particular those relating to health and safety and risk management.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A clean Full Driver's License (manual).
  • Experience working in teams.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good customer service abilities, physical fitness, and previous campus support experience.
