Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Programme Administrator – Geography in the School of Geography, Environment and Earth Sciences. This is a permanent role and makes a significant contribution to the administrative support structure with the school.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Providing dedicated administrative support for the School’s Board(s) of Studies.
  • Administration and formatting of course documents, in particular, course outlines, examinations and tests.
  • Liaise with the wider university community with regard to timetabling, lecturer constraints, room bookings and scheduling of test and assignment dates.
  • Provide a client-focused approach to current and prospective student needs, both external and internal, to ensure that all current and prospective students are responded to in a professional and responsive manner answering queries and information on courses.
